Adding the Church schedule to your Personal Device
To add the Google Calendar (rmogsitemgmt@gmail.com) to your personal Android phone or iPhone, you need to add the email account to your device’s calendar settings. Once added, the calendar will automatically sync and appear in your device’s calendar app. Make sure you know the password for the account.
Step-by-step instructions
For Google and Android Devices
- You need to use a web browser to initiate the sharing/subscription process.
- Open a web browser (Chrome, Safari, etc.) on a computer, or put your phone’s browser into “Desktop site” mode.
- Navigate to the Google Calendar website and sign in with the same Google account you use on your Android phone.
- On the left-hand side, find the section called “Other calendars” and click the + icon next to it.
- Select “Subscribe to calendar” from the drop-down menu.
- In the “Add calendar” box that appears, enter the full email address: rmogsitemgmt@gmail.com.
For iPhone:
- Open the Calendar app.
- Tap Calendars at the bottom.
- Tap Add Calendar > Add Subscribed Calendar.
- In the Server field, type: https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/rmogsitemgmt@gmail.com/public/basic.ics
- Tap Next, then Save.
The calendar will now appear in your iPhone calendar.
